Sherif Hanna is a core member of Boston Consulting Group's Financial Institutions (FI) practice and a member of the firm's FI leadership team for Egypt. He has extensive experience in management consulting and financial services across Egypt and Europe.
Sherif has experience along the FI value chain, from defining strategy to transformation and implementation in complex banking organizations, including business growth, launching new businesses, driving operational efficiency, financial services transformation, and operating model restructuring.
Before joining BCG, Sherif was a Director in the Transformation team of Commercial International Bank (CIB) in Egypt. Before that, he was a management consultant in the UK, also focusing on financial services, and part of the investment team at Belton Private Equity in Egypt.
