Shinichi Takayanagi

Shinichi Takayanagi joined Boston Consulting Group in 2022. He is a core member of the firm's Technology, Media & Telecommunications; Consumer; and Tech & Digital Advantage practices. He is also a core member of the firm's GenAI team in Japan.

Shinichi has led numerous projects leveraging AI and digital technologies across a wide range of industries, including technology, media, consumer, and the public sector. His work covers AI strategy, technical execution, and software development, and he has significant expertise in AI trends and emerging technologies.

He previously served as a Visiting Associate Professor at Tokushima University and as a steering committee secretary of the Big Data Research Group at the Information Processing Society of Japan.

Prior to joining BCG, Shinichi worked at Uzabase, Inc., LINE Corporation, Recruit Communications Co., Ltd., and other organizations.
