Somesh Chaturvedi is a Principal IT Architect at BCG Platinion, Boston Consulting Group’s division focused on IT architecture and risk management services as well as for the Technology & Digital Advantage practice for the firm. Somesh specializes in next-generation IT architecture and innovative tech solutions to meet complex business requirements. He joined BCG in 2021 bringing over 18 years of industry experience. At the firm, he focuses on large-scale digital transformation within the Financial Institutions; Technology, Media & Telecommunications; and Consumer practices.

Somesh's primary concentration has been in banking and payments, where he has led numerous large-scale tech and digital programs. He has a keen interest in enterprise architecture and its role in fostering innovation in today's competitive landscape. His client experience includes engagements in technology due diligence, architecture audit and future roadmap, high-value use case delivery, marketing technology architecture redesign, complex IT transformation for a large bank, and IT sourcing for a global energy firm. In addition, he is an active participant in BCG's mental health and global accessibility community.

Prior to joining BCG, Somesh was a Senior Enterprise Architect with FIS, focusing on advising clients on product and tech adoption in their banking and payments division in EMEA. He has also offered his expertise as an independent consultant in the public sector in one of the largest boroughs of London and an aviation client in its defense and space cloud transformation program.
