Steve Mitchelmore joined The Boston Consulting Group in 2005 and is a core member of the firm’s Consumer practice area, specializing in marketing and retail.
He is a leader on the topic of personalization, and has deep expertise in digital customer experience, marketing and sales, and corporate development. He has spoken at conferences and led workshops to inspire clients to leverage advanced data and analytics and to invest in new ways of working to accelerate improvement in their companys’ customer experience.
Steve has led multiple large scale transformations in retail and consumer tech. He has brought BCG’s GAMMA data science group, BCG Digital Ventures, and Platinium’s IT integration expertise together to form an integrated program to deliver step change value to clients. He is committed to organizational enablement to ensure companies can sustain their change over the long term.
Steve’s recent work includes a large scale transformation that changed organizational structures, processes, and priorities to shift the organization to be more customer centric.
Steve is part of the West Coast System Management Team and the head of the Seattle office. He also serves as Recruiting Partner for Seattle and lead for the west coast PTO program.
