Sudeep Maitra is a core member of Boston Consulting Group's Energy and Infrastructure practices focusing on energy and water utilities. He joined the firm in 2019, bringing over ten years of consulting experience and over eight years of senior utilities experience in power and water utility transformation. He is also involved in and a board member of two disruptive tech-led energy startups in energy optimization for buildings.

Sudeep works with leading energy retailers, networks, services players, and investors on building new businesses on the customer-side of the energy transition (EV charging, grid services, energy efficiency, hydrogen, district heating, batteries, etc.). He also works with water and wastewater utilities to deliver superior business outcomes by transforming their businesses, with a focus on integrated asset and customer operations. He works extensively with infrastructure investors and private equity firms on portfolio strategy and transactions in the energy and environment spaces.

Before he joined BCG, Sudeep worked as Chief Strategy Officer and VP at Centrica, as well as at McKinsey & Co., General Electric, and Arthur Andersen.
