Tomás Estevez is a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Energy practice, and part of the leadership of the Doha office. Tomás joined BCG in 2016. He works with oil and gas clients—both international oil companies (IOCs) and national oil companies (NOCs). He has worked for clients in South America and Europe, but is currently focused on the Middle East.

In his recent client work, Tomás has worked on a variety of strategic projects, including the definition of the natural resources and renewable energy strategy for a Middle East country, and the comprehensive update of the budgeting approach and overall management system review of an NOC. On the digital side, he delivered the end-to-end (through Build-Operate-Transfer) digital program for an upstream operator, and has delivered digital solutions for the downstream sector. Additionally, he led projects in core upstream operations (cost savings program, process improvement) and field development.

Before joining BCG, Tomás was a project engineer at Tecnicas Reunidas, an O&G EPC contractor.
