Valerie Gong joined Boston Consulting Group in 2008. She left to go to business school in 2011, and returned to the firm in 2013. She is a core member of BCG's Consumer practice with experience in all sectors of the retail consumer industry, including general merchandise, grocery, drug retail, specialty retail, and restaurants. Valerie is also a member of BCG's digital division. 

Valerie works with clients on a variety of topics including strategy; operations; supply chain; pricing, sales, and marketing; and due diligence. Her focus is on helping companies leverage best-in-class digital technologies and advanced analytics to unlock new sources of value, and achieve competitive advantage and improvements in productivity, flexibility, and speed.
