Vishal Lahoti

Vishal Lahoti is a core member of the Energy practice, leading our work in Oil & Gas and New Energy. He has over 17 years of industry and consulting experience spanning more than ten countries across the globe. He has expertise in growth and portfolio strategy, cost and procurement transformation, HR transformation, and operational excellence.

Vishal is also closely involved in BCG’s Climate & Sustainability work, helping shape thinking and deliver impact across new business builds, ESG strategy, and energy transition and decarbonization roadmaps. He has expertise in new energy frontiers, including renewables, green hydrogen, and biofuels. He is committed to helping organizations build greener, more resilient, and future-ready businesses.

Vishal has advised several oil and gas public sector Maharatna companies, public policy regulators, and international alliances focused on climate action. In addition to this, Vishal has played a pivotal role in shaping energy policy and fostering partnerships within India’s energy ecosystem. He works closely with government bodies, regulators, and public sector enterprises to advance the country’s energy security and transition agenda.

Prior to joining BCG in 2022, Vishal spent eight years at Accenture Strategy, advising over 15 global energy clients, and three years with Schlumberger, delivering large-scale offshore seismic programs.
