Vít Pumprla joined The Boston Consulting Group in 2005. He is a member of the Financial Institutions practice. Vít focuses his work on financial institutions and the insurance industry in the Central and Eastern European region.

In the financial services sector, Vít has acquired experience in business strategy, transformations, distribution strategies (physical and digital), reorganizations, cost optimization, M&A, sales performance management, and new business building.

In his client work at BCG, he has developed funding strategies covering key asset and liability products, designed new business concepts for online mortgages, worked on ATM strategies, and managed strategic growth initiatives, including sales process optimization, in the small business and affluent segments of a major European banking group. Vít also and developed a renewal strategy for a regional German bank to be submitted to the European Commission.

Vít has worked as well on projects in consumer goods and telecommunications. Prior to joining the firm, Vít worked at Rolls Royce Group in the UK and HVB Bank in the Czech Republic.
