Vladislav Boutenko leads the global cities and regions component of Boston Consulting Group’s Travel, Cities & Infrastructure practice. He has also directed Cities research with BCG Institute since 2019. His group’s research focuses on cities’ value proposition toward its residents, resident-centric planning of cities’ physical and virtual real estate, the role of technology in cities, and talent migration. His forthcoming book, “The Way We Live Next,” is due out from HarperBusiness in Spring 2027.
Vladislav is also a member of the firm’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications, and People & Organization practices. He has three decades of experience working with clients in the US, Europe, and the Middle East, creating and implementing strategic programs that focus on long-term development, implementing innovations, and attracting investors. He has particular expertise and experience in high-tech industries.
