Wietse Bloemzaad is a core member of BCG X, Boston Consulting Group's tech build and design unit. At BCG X, Wietse supports corporate partners with designing, building and scaling new business and GenAI products, which often fuel a wider digital transformation.
Similarly, he supports corporates with their digital innovation strategy–particularly how to leverage corporate assets and turn them into digital advantages. His experience covers many industries, including chemical, real estate, public sector, and telecom. He has worked extensively in Europe and the Middle East.
Wietse was formerly a member of BCG Digital Ventures, which was rolled into BCG X in 2022. Before that, he was a Principal at BCG and another consulting firm where he supported clients with their digital transformations, corporate strategy, and reorganization. Wietse also has experience founding various startups and is an active angel investor.
