Xavier Héry joined Boston Consulting Group in 2019. He is a member of the Energy practice, and an expert in downstream oil with a special focus on mobility, retail, lubricants, and aviation fuels. He works with his clients to drive large scale change and deliver outstanding impact in diverse and changing environments.

Xavier has led client engagements across the UK, Europe, North America, South Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia, and has direct P&L accountability experience in B2C (fuels and convenience retailing) and B2B (oil products trading and aviation fuels). In addition to consulting, he has developed his stakeholder management skills through country and regional leadership roles, JV board directorships, and senior key account management. His current interests and strengths include the service station of the future, mobility retailer transformation enabled by digital, dynamic pricing, and retail network optimization.

Before joining the firm, Xavier worked for a year as a managing director at Intertek, Gulf and Pakistan. Before that he worked for over 20 years in the oil and gas industry and held several senior commercial leadership positions at Shell, most recently Aviation Global Strategy Manager; and at BP.
