Yoshiaki Tsukahara initially joined Boston Consulting Group in 2000 after working for Mitsubishi Corporation, and rejoined the firm in 2019. Prior to rejoining BCG, Yoshiaki worked for international private equity firms and consulting firms. He is a core member of the firm’s Consumer, Marketing, Sales & Pricing, and Operations practices.

In his work at BCG, Yoshiaki has advised retail industry clients, including supermarkets, department stores and food services in addition to consumer goods clients, such as fashion/luxury goods, cosmetics, and food/beverages. He also works with clients in the media and entertainment industries. Yoshiaki’s recent work has encompassed digital transformation, marketing, supply chain/logistics, and mergers and acquisitions, and post-merger integration.
