BCG Life

BCG’s office in Vienna serves a wide range of Austria’s top companies, including those in the financial services, industrial, energy, and consumer goods sectors.

True to the motto "Color Up Your Life", the Vienna office impresses with a colorful and diverse working atmosphere. There, our vibrant community comes together in dynamic teams. The Vienna office is large enough to meet new BCG employees on a regular basis, and at the same time so familiar that everyone can get to know each other personally.

Our office has been in the old main post office building since 2022. This was built in 1767-1773 and used as the main toll building. It also housed the so-called "travelling extra mail". Today, historic ambience meets modern design. An inspiring environment to find new creative solutions for our customers around the globe.

Vienna combines tradition, innovation and diversity. The cultural metropolis is home to the Opera Ball, as well as a lively start-up scene and has always been the linchpin between East and West. Characterized by its breathtaking architecture, imperial flair still blows through the capital. At the same time, people from all over the world come together here and ensure the urban, multicultural character of Vienna. How popular this colorful city is, is shown by the numerous awards for the most livable city. Here, Vienna repeatedly prevails against 230 other cities.

BCG opened an office in Vienna in the spring of 1997 to serve its Austrian clients even more closely while attracting the country's most talented minds. Our employees work primarily in the financial services, industry, energy, and consumer goods sectors. We are happy to end a working week on our roof terrace high above Vienna's city center. In addition, our team meets regularly for various events such as summer festivals, company parties or ski days. Because our top priority is a strong community that has fun together. This cohesion is also reflected in our various social projects. For example, the Vienna BCGers are involved in the Business@school initiative or offer targeted support and promotion to migrants and refugees. This much is certain: It never gets boring with us!
