BCG Life

BCG’s office in Vienna serves a wide range of Austria’s top companies, including those in the financial services, energy, and consumer goods industries.

Our office is in Kattus-Haus, the former distribution center of the renowned Johann Kattus winery—located in the heart of Vienna’s old town district and just across the square from the Palais Collalto, where Mozart gave his first public concert at the age of six. In these historic surroundings, we always find new and creative solutions for our customers around the world.

Vienna combines tradition, innovation, and diversity. Characterized by its breathtaking imperial architecture, the city is home to the Opera Ball as well as a lively startup scene. A linchpin between East and West, Austria’s capital attracts people from all parts of the world, providing the city its urban, multicultural character. But don’t take our word for it: as of 2019, Vienna had topped Mercer’s quality of living rankings for 10 years in a row, making it the most livable city in the world.

In our daily work, we combine international flair and dynamism with an Austrian mentality. We like to end a work week on our roof terrace high above Vienna's old town or to spend time enjoying other activities together, be it a football game or a running dinner. In addition, our team regularly comes together for various events such as summer festivals, company celebrations, ski days, or a scavenger hunt through Vienna. Our top priority is building a strong community that has fun together—a cohesion that is also reflected in our various social projects, which include the business@school initiative as well as targeted support and encouragement for migrants and refugees.

One thing is certain: for BCGers in Vienna, work and life are always rewarding!
