Udo Jung is a senior advisor in the Industrial Goods practice at Boston Consulting Group. He was previously a managing director and senior partner at BCG. Udo was the founder and long-term leader of both the chemicals and petrochemicals divisions at BCG, and he has been with the firm for over 30 years.

Udo is a global expert on growth projects and capability-building roadmaps, as well as go-to-market excellence and digital in the chemical industry. He focuses on the chemical, petrochemical, and chemical distribution industries, and supports companies on essential strategic and operations topics, as well as leading transformations in the areas of corporate strategy, portfolio management, and operating model. He has advised leading companies on acquisitions-based growth and transformation strategies, and led major post-merger integration efforts.

While at BCG, Udo has published numerous reports and articles, and is often a featured speaker at industry conferences. He is a member of the supervisory board of a chemical company focusing on innovative solutions for polymer recycling. He also acts as a business angel to chemical startups, and sits on the board of a startup focused on sustainable supply chains in the life sciences industry.
