He has more than 12 years’ experience in Dutch retail and wholesale banking and has worked extensively on many people –and organization cases, mostly in relation to agile, organization design, and Smart Simplicity.
Jaap has engaged in business steering, people-and-organization, and postmerger integration (PMI) projects as part of his banking work. These include leading a business steering project for a top Dutch retail bank, developing KPIs for a private-banking investments-support center, helping to realign the strategy and development of an ambitious growth program for a major Dutch retail bank, and (in light of a large banking merger) developing a new business plan for a major Dutch retail bank.
Jaap’s expertise in PMI has been a valuable asset in multiple projects involving the integration of Dutch retail banks.
Digital transformation is vital to companies’ survival, yet it is threatened by complicatedness. A four-step process helps organizations combat complicatedness—and set the stage for success.
A new approach enables companies to realize the true potential of corporate transformation, even in a world of constant and dizzying change.
