Akira Morita is a leader of Boston Consulting Group’s Consumer practice in Japan and a core member of the Marketing, Sales & Pricing practice. 

Since joining BCG in 2012, Akira has advised clients across a range of industries, including consumer goods, retail, and transportation. He has acquired deep experience in the food and beverage sector and the transportation industry. 

Akira’s recent client work at BCG has encompassed formulation and implementation of business unit strategy, data-driven marketing, and supply chain management (SCM). 

Prior to joining BCG, he was a principal with A.T. Kearney.
