Tjun Tang joined The Boston Consulting Group in 2001. He is a core member of the firm’s Financial Institutions, Insurance, Global Advantage, and Corporate Development practices.

Tjun is an expert in banking and insurance transformation and, more generally, strategic and operational topics in corporate and investment banking, wealth and securities, and asset management.

At BCG, Tjun has advised global financial institutions on major business and operating-model transformation programs. He has led, among many other projects, strategy development, mergers and acquisitions, and functional-capability development in banks, asset managers, insurers, and securities firms across the Asia-Pacific region.

Tjun has coauthored many BCG publications—including the firm’s annual Global Wealth, Global Asset Management, and Creating Value in Banking reports—as well as numerous reports on financial-sector transformation in China. He contributes regular columns and articles to the leading Chinese publications Global Entrepreneur and Caijing.

Before joining BCG, Tjun worked at Mitchell Madison Group.
