BCG in Amsterdam was founded in 1993 through a merger with local Dutch consultants Horringa & DeKoning. BCG Amsterdam's first office was situated in a beautiful country house in Baarn. With success comes growth, and when we outgrew the Baarn office we moved to Amsterdam. In 2007, BCG in Amsterdam moved to an ultramodern office situated at the Zuidas in the southern part of town. The Zuidas is an innovative, international business hub within close reach of Schiphol Airport and the historic city center, where you can find many cultural highlights that are worth visiting and some, like the famous Concert Building, that we have actually worked with!
BCG in Amsterdam offers broad possibilities for international experiences, from individual projects abroad to longer-term transfers. We are an active participant in our international Ambassador Program, offering the opportunity to temporarily transfer and gain experience in other BCG offices We also host international project participants and international ambassadors from other BCG offices all over the world, providing a very global atmosphere.
Our office fosters a culture that encourages professional challenges, development, and teamwork. The atmosphere is open, flexible, and lively and leaves room for individuals with diverse backgrounds and personalities. Although we all take our work very seriously, there is also plenty of room for fun. Throughout the year, you can participate in the many activities that BCG in Amsterdam has to offer, such as sport tournaments, a skiing trip, the annual fall outing, and our New Year's party.
