Josh Ding is a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Consumer Practice in Greater China. His experience in China covers many consumer goods categories including apparel, luxury goods, food and beverage, spirits, appliances and electronics—from both the brand company and retailer perspectives. He is the lead for Innovation in Consumer Products for the Asia Pacific region.

Based in Singapore before settling in Shanghai, Josh has gained experience from more than 40 consumer projects in seven markets. He has supported numerous companies in defining and executing their growth agenda in China, covering topics such as digital transformation, growth strategy, market segmentation, channel strategy, retailer strategy for FMCG, brand architecture, consumer-related CDD, innovation, organization, and route-to-market, as well as mergers and acquisitions and post-merger integration.
