Tom McCaleb leads Travel, Transport & Leisure within Boston Consulting Group's Travel, Cities & Infrastructure practice in North America. He works with clients in industries including airlines, aviation, defense, hotels, cruise lines, and travel technology.
Tom’s work has covered a broad set of functional topics, including operations, technology, strategy, and commercial functions (brand strategy, sales, marketing, loyalty, pricing and revenue management). Examples of his client work include turnaround strategy for a private aviation operator, supply chain effectiveness for a public sector organization, revenue management transformations for a large US airline and a global cruise line, and projects to improve the commercial, operations, and technology functions— as well as design and launch a new brand—for a large global hotel company.
Prior to joining BCG, Tom was an active-duty officer in the US Air Force for seven years, including assignments as an aircraft maintenance operations manager in Germany and a numerical analyst in Iraq.
