Dutch MacDonald is a member of BCG X, Boston Consulting Group’s tech build and design unit, specifically leading efforts in driving breakthrough innovations using behavioral and human-centered design.

Dutch joined BCG with the acquisition of digital design and innovation lab MAYA Design, where he served as CEO. Prior to joining MAYA, he practiced architecture for more than 17 years, and he brings an architectural, omnichannel approach to driving transformations.

Dutch is also the global lead for design, generating a unified design approach to drive CX/EX and end-to-end customer journeys across BCG worldwide. He has codified new offerings that bring a human-centered focus to accelerating digital transformation within organizations across industries including CPG, health care, financial, industrial goods, and manufacturing.
