Before becoming a senior advisor to Boston Consulting Group in May 2016, Heino spent 25 years at BCG focusing his client work on the private equity, health care provider, and medical-technology sectors. He was also deeply involved in the social sector, particularly in the topics of hunger and nutrition, and he led BCG's global relationship with WFP. Heino has extensive experience working with multilateral organizations and NGOs on strategic projects across a wide range of priority areas.

For Heino, honesty and clarity constitute his credo: he engages as a trusted business partner, not just as a service provider or consultant.

Before joining BCG, Heino worked for five years in the finance department of VARTA Batteries and as a business analyst with Ermgassen & Co.
