Vaishali Rastogi serves as Boston Consulting Group's chief client officer and chair of the Industry practices. Previously, she led BCG’s global Technology, Media & Telecommunications practice where she spearheaded the firm’s growth across key industries including software, semiconductors, telecommunications, and infrastructure. She has led a step change in business performance with expansion to new segments, where technology is a horizontal impacting multiple industries rather than just a traditional vertical sector.
Vaishali is particularly focused on AI (predictive, generative, agentic), and is part of the firm's AI leadership, both in partnering with tech firms and leading enterprise deployments across verticals. She has worked on AI/agentic transformations, including reimagining the role of AI in key domains, building talent and operating model, ensuring optimal tech architecture, and realizing impact at scale. Vaishali brings deep experience in driving technology-led transformative change and end-to-end capability building in both local and global businesses.
During her 30 years at BCG, Vaishali has held a number of leadership positions, including serving as the Southeast Asia System Leader and as co-lead for BCG’s sales topic globally. Currently, she is a member of BCG’s Executive and Operating Committees. Vaishali is deeply passionate about mentoring young talent and promoting women in tech.
