Phillip Benedetti is a partner of Boston Consulting Group in Australia and New Zealand, and BCG’s Lead for the Auckland office. Since joining the firm in 2011, Phillip has worked across industries as a leader in BCG’s Corporate Finance and Strategy practice, helping support clients on their value-creation, growth and innovation agendas. He is recognised as one of the firm’s global topic leaders in Agile Planning which he has shared with clients across Asia Pacific, Europe and North America.

Within Australia and New Zealand, Phillip has spent a majority of his time working in the Financial Institutions, Insurance and Healthcare industries, helping clients solve highly ambiguous, high risk/reward questions in a way that generates value for customers, shareholders and the broader communities which his clients operate. This includes as an executive (secondment) at one of Australia’s largest banks.

Beyond casework, Phillip plays a leadership role in BCG’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion agenda as an ally, mentor and advocate. And when he was based in Melbourne, he held Board positions in the not-for-profit and start-up spaces.

Before joining BCG, Phillip worked as an innovation consultant at OI Pharma Partners and as a Research Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania.
