BCG has won the “All Star” award from the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) for the second year in a row, notching perfect scores in six of IAOP’s nine judging categories in its 2017 Global Outsourcing 100 program.

CONSULTING MAGAZINE'S EXCELLENCE IN SOCIAL & COMMUNITY INVESTMENT AWARD

For the third consecutive year, Consulting magazine honored BCG with the publication's Excellence in Social & Community Investment Award. The award recognizes consultancies for outstanding client service on a pro bono, discounted, or volunteer basis at the local or global level. The 2016 award heralded BCG's work helping the Dallas Independent School District with its early childhood strategy. Previous awards recognized BCG’s work with the UN Mission for Emergency Ebola Response and with Save the Children International.

IVY EXEC'S BEST LARGE FIRM TO WORK FOR, 2016

Networking, recruiting, and market research company Ivy Exec ranked BCG number one on its list of the best large consulting companies to work for. The rankings are based on employee feedback about work, culture, compensation, leadership, and prestige. This was the second year in a row BCG landed the top spot.

EUROPE'S MOST ATTRACTIVE EMPLOYERS BY UNIVERSUM

Universum, an employer branding company, has ranked BCG number 10 on its list of Europe’s Most Attractive Employers for business students in both 2017 and 2018. The ranking reflects a survey of more than 190,000 students at top academic institutions in 12 countries in Europe; the students were asked to choose their ideal companies to work for.

VAULT’S TOP 50 CONSULTING FIRMS

The careers website Vault.com has ranked BCG the number two consulting firm among potential employees for 2017. BCG has ranked in the top three since Vault began the survey in 2011. Vault's survey of consultants looked at factors such as firm prestige, employee satisfaction, firm culture, compensation, and work-life balance. BCG ranked number two overall in the areas of prestige, benefits, and compensation.

Individual Honors

Since the inception of Consulting magazine's Top 25 Consultants list in 2000 to recognize the most influential leaders in the industry, no fewer than 20 BCG partners have been honored. Many of our people have also been celebrated with the publication's prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award and other accolades. These are some of our award winners.

Top 25 Women Leaders in Tech Services and Consulting, 2019—Karalee Close

The Software Report has named Karalee Close as one of its “Top 25 Women Leaders in Tech Services and Consulting” for 2019. Karalee is the global leader of Boston Consulting Group's Technology Advantage practice, a core member of DigitalBCG’s Global Senior Management team, and an active sponsor of the firm’s Women@BCG and Women in Technology initiatives.

    Top 25 Consultants, 2019—Marin Gjaja

    Consultant Magazine has named Marin Gjaja one of its “Top 25 Consultants” for 2019 for his excellence in leadership. Marin, a Senior Partner in the Chicago office and lead of BCG’s offices in the US and Great Lakes region, has worked in every one of the firm’s functional practice areas; however, he has worked primarily with companies in the consumer goods and health care industries. Marin also serves as the Chair of BCG's Center for Illinois' Future, the team in Chicago focused on local social impact and public sector work supporting education, violence reduction, economic development, and struggling neighborhoods.

      LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD, 2018—DEBBIE SIMPSON

      Debbie Simpson was honored with Consulting Magazine's Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2018 Women Leaders in Consulting Gala Awards Dinner. Debbie is BCG's Chief Financial Officer and a member of the firm's Executive Committee, Operating Committee, and other core management teams. Her vision and ambition have helped transform BCG and encourage BCGers around the world.

      TOP 100 MOST INFLUENTIAL BLACKS IN CORPORATE AMERICA, 2018—JUSTIN DEAN

      Savoy Magazine has recognized BCG Partner & Managing Director Justin Dean as one of the "Top 100 Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America" for 2018, calling out his leadership of the Washington office and his work with BCG's Ethnic Diversity Network.

      TOP 25 CONSULTANTS, 2018—PAUL GORDON

      Consultant Magazine has named Paul Gordon one of its “Top 25 Consultants” for 2018 for his excellence in leadership. Paul, a Senior Partner in the Chicago office and head of the NAMR Partner People Team, focuses on working with industrial goods and med tech clients on issues of business integration, manufacturing, and supplier management.

      In his over 30 years at BCG, Paul has streamlined the firm’s partner promotion, development, and evaluation processes; and served as a mentor to many.

      WOMEN LEADERS IN CONSULTING AWARD, 2017—MICHELLE RUSSELL

      Michelle Stohlmeyer Russell, who for four years led the firm's global women's program, Women@BCG, for North America, was one of six women recognized for Excellence in Leadership by Consulting magazine for 2017.

      Chicago-based Russell was recognized for her leadership both within and outside of BCG. She is an active member of the Health Care and People & Organization practice areas.

      TOP 25 CONSULTANTS, 2017—GRANT FREELAND

      Grant is the global leader of BCG's People & Organization practice.

      He works at the intersections of strategy and organization, as well as the hard and soft sides of change.

Grant's work includes corporate transformations, postmerger integration, organization design, leadership and talent, change management, corporate-function improvements, high-performance cultures and work force, and HR enhancement.

      Leila Hoteit, partner and managing director in BCG's Dubai office, was named the 2016 Businesswoman of the Year at the Arab Woman Awards.

      Leila is an expert on the topic of human capital—including education and women’s economic empowerment—in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and broader Middle East region.

      UPSTANDING LIST, 2016—MICHAEL SHERMAN AND ROSELINDE TORRES

      Roselinde Torres, senior partner in BCG's New York office and leader of the firm's CEO advisory offering in North America; and Michael Sherman, Dallas-based partner and strategic advisor to many of the world's top technology executives, were named to the inaugural UPstanding List. The list, created by search firm Audeliss, celebrates the top 100 "ethnic minority leaders."

      BCG's social impact expert Wendy Woods is one of four women recognized for excellence in leadership in 2015.

        TOP 25 CONSULTANTS, 2015—STEFAN LARSSON

        Stefan is the global leader of BCG's health care payers and providers sector. He has been a BCG Fellow since 2010.

        His recognition as one of the Top 25 Consultants was specifically for "excellence in health care." Stefan focuses on the topic of value-based health care—that is, how transparency within health care outcomes and patient group costs will drive the transformation of health care systems.
