Antoon Schneider leads Boston Consulting Group’s private-equity work in London and is a core member of the firm’s Corporate Development practice.

In the course of his career, Antoon has advised more than half the world’s 50 largest private-equity firms on a range of projects that include deal sourcing, due diligence, and firm strategy, working with their portfolio companies on numerous 100-day plans and operational-improvement projects. He also has extensive experience in corporate strategy and mergers and acquisitions.

Antoon has led several research projects on private equity, covering topics such as deal sourcing, auctions, active ownership, and industry structure. He has written for various journals, including Harvard Business Review, on private equity and on the role of M&A in corporate strategy. Antoon is a regular speaker and panelist at private-equity-industry conferences.

Before joining BCG in 2011, Antoon spent nearly 14 years with McKinsey, where he led the private-equity practice in the UK. He previously worked in M&A at Hambros Bank and with Arthur Andersen as a chartered accountant.
