Marcus Ehrhardt is a core member of the Health Care and Operations practices at Boston Consulting Group, with a special focus on operations strategy and transformation in life sciences. He is an expert in digital and analytics in biopharma operations. Marcus has broad international experience working with executive teams and clients from biopharma/biotech, medtech, animal health companies, and CMOs and private equity firms across the globe.

Marcus’s project experience covers strategy-based transformation and performance improvement programs, supply chain management, and production network/make vs. buy strategies to due diligences. He is also an expert in digital supply chain and advanced analytics for operations.

Prior to joining BCG, Marcus was a managing director and partner at Booz & Company (now called Strategy&) in Frankfurt and in New York, where he was a leader in the health care practice, most recently leading the firm’s life sciences operations strategy business in North America out of the New York office.

Marcus is a recognized thought leader and is the author of numerous articles, with a focus on pharma operations and digitization. He has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, FiercePharma, and other publications.
