The Case for Building Corporate Ventures Using Deep Tech
Now’s the time for corporates to invest in Deep Tech and problem-solve in creative ways.
The BCG Ho Chi Minh City office opened in 2013 and is located in the heart of the city—the center of finance, industry, and culture. Since 1996, BCG has amassed deep insights into this market to help our clients build sustainable advantage in one of Southeast Asia's most important rising tigers.
Our client portfolio includes leading public- and private-sector organizations in Vietnam and across Southeast Asia. The team supports assignments ranging from general strategy and market entry to organizational restructuring and business transformation. BCG Ho Chi Minh City has helped clients put in place structural changes that will continue to play a key role in the development of Vietnam’s economy.
BCG Vietnam is a small and dynamic team that is fast growing. Our people delightedly spend time supporting new members through the buddy program, which assists newbies in their first few months at BCG. We also regularly offer social gatherings to foster relationships among colleagues and make the office resemble a close-knit family. Over the past few years, we have had our team members enthusiastically participate in social activities such as go-kart driving, bowling, paintball, kayaking, and most memorably our BCG HCM master chef event. We have also organized charity runs as part of our social-impact commitment.

Net-zero by 2050 requires a fundamental transformation of the global economy and a new investment paradigm, with US$100 trillion in capital required—the largest amount invested in human history.
5G is expected to alter the connectivity landscape with new technological innovations. To unleash this generational change will however require coordinated efforts from the regulatory authorities, operators and enterprises.
