Since joining Boston Consulting Group in 2000, Hajime Shoji has worked closely with clients primarily in the high-tech, telecommunications, and financial services sectors. He was previously a managing director & senior partner in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications and Public Sector practices at the firm. Hajime's experience includes partnering with clients on new business building, growth strategies, emerging market strategies, business model transformation, organizational reform, leadership development, and digital transformation.

Before joining BCG, Hajime worked at the Industrial Bank of Japan (now Mizuho Financial Group) in the asset management and M&A advisory fields. He is currently a managing director at Japan Rugby League One.
