Michael Strauss joined Boston Consulting Group in 2003. He is a core member of BCG's Financial Institutions practice and focuses on wholesale banking, capital markets, and corporate banking topics. He leads BCG’s global work in wholesale transaction banking. 

At BCG, Michael has worked extensively with clients in corporate banking and capital markets on strategic projects addressing coverage and sales strategies, strategic asset class reviews, and growth initiatives. He has also worked on several postmerger integrations and on operating model optimizations for target operating models (TOMs), location setup, and IT target architectures. 

Before joining the firm, Michael worked for Allianz Pimco Asset Management and WestLB Panmure ECM and made an apprenticeship in banking.
