Akira Morita is a leading member of Boston Consulting Group’s Consumer practice and a leader in the firm's work on building a circular economy and transforming food system within the Climate & Sustainability practice in Japan. He is also a core member of the firm’s Marketing, Sales & Pricing practice.

Since joining BCG in 2012, Akira has advised clients across a range of industries, including consumer goods, retail, and transportation. He has acquired deep experience in the food and beverage sector and the transportation industry.

Akira’s recent client work at BCG has encompassed formulation and implementation of business unit strategy, data-driven marketing, supply chain management, and sustainability.

Prior to joining BCG, he was a principal with A.T. Kearney.
