Henning Schierholz focuses on transportation and logistics at Boston Consulting Group, with a special focus on rail. He leads the relationship between BCG and a large European railway company. Henning is part of BCG’s management team in Germany, and leads the firm's Hamburg office. 

Since joining BCG in 2004, Henning has worked extensively on digital, operational, and organizational topics in rail, construction, and mining. He manages multiple transformations of large railway companies. Henning offers considerable know-how in the fields of operational optimization, design, and the implementation of organizational changes and digitization. 

In the area of digitization, he currently manages projects that include developing new digital business models, defining the vision for digital railway operation, and digitizing the customer interface.
