John Garabedian joined Boston Consulting Group in 1997. He is a member of the Financial Institutions practice and previously led the practice in the Americas from 2007 to 2012. John works with banking, insurance, and asset management firms on strategy and operational issues. He has worked on BCG projects with clients across banking, payments, wealth management, asset management, and capital markets.

At BCG, John has helped develop the growth strategy for top retail and commercial banks. He has worked with clients on digital growth strategy in multiple sectors including retail banking, wealth management, and payments. He has acquired deep consulting experience in brand positioning and cobranding.

Before joining the firm, John was a vice president for Gemini Consulting, where he was the North American Financial Services practice leader. He also worked in strategic planning at Continental Bank.
