Sophie Ding is a cybersecurity and data privacy expert for BCG Platinion. Platinion is Boston Consulting Group’s IT implementation and risk management unit and part of the firm’s Technology & Digital Advantage practice.

Sophie has more than ten years of experience working with Fortune 500 and mid-size clients at both the executive and operational levels, providing a combination of digital risk management (with a concentration on cybersecurity and privacy) and business strategy to help clients build resilience, digital trust, and other tech advantages.

Sophie is dedicated to helping health care companies rethink data, technology, security, and privacy in order to improve patients' lives and quality of care. She has worked closely with payers, providers, and pharma and medtech companies. Outside of health care, Sophie has experience with financial institutions, retail, manufacturing, consumer goods, and private equity.

Before joining BCG, Sophie was a Cybersecurity Manager at E&Y and a Cybersecurity Senior Consultant at Deloitte.
