Marcial González joined Boston Consulting Group in 2011. He worked out of the Washington DC, Miami, and Santiago offices before coming to Colombia. Marcial is a core member of the firm’s worldwide Digital Acceleration Services, Technology Advantage, and Financial Institutions practices, and leads BCG’s work in digital business for Colombia, Central America, and the Caribbean; as well as the firm’s cybersecurity business for Western Europe, South America, and Africa.

Marcial has broad experience in digital topics in a variety of industries (including banks, insurance companies, non-profits, and airlines) and in many countries in the Americas. He works with enterprises and their leaders to design and implement digital strategies that enable them to navigate an increasingly complex business environment by transforming their core business, building new and disruptive ventures, and revolutionizing their way of working, technology, and ecosystems. In this way he hopes to help them become digital-savvy leaders.

Prior to joining BCG, Marcial was an officer in the Chilean Navy for ten years, and worked for three years in the private sector primarily involved in the energy field.
