Olivier Muehlstein joined The Boston Consulting Group in 2008. He has extensive experience in the telecommunications and media sectors in Southeast Asia, and he has been deeply involved in developing BCG's mobile data and digital expertise in emerging markets. Olivier is a core group member of the Strategy, the Marketing, Sales & Pricing, and the Technology, Media, & Telecommunications practices at BCG. He is an expert in market research and customer insight.

Over his years as a consultant, Olivier has developed expertise in the development and implementation of revenue stimulation programs; the design and execution of turnaround, portfolio, and go-to-market strategies; the development of digital businesses; and consumer-insight-driven market segmentation and organizational effectiveness.

Prior to joining the firm, Olivier worked as a consultant for Monitor—based in Singapore—where he covered the telecommunications and tourism industries in Southeast Asia, India, and Korea.
