Boston Consulting Group Collaborates with Aptos Labs to Bring Web3 Solutions to Major Financial Institutions

May 3, 2024 | New at BCG

BOSTON—Boston Consulting Group (BCG) today announced that it has entered a strategic partnership with Aptos Labs—a global blockchain leader—to help financial institutions implement a suite of end-to-end institutional Web3 and digital asset management solutions.

In recent years, there has been a sharp increase in demand for tokenization and blockchain-enabled solutions in regulated financial markets. Aptos Labs recently collaborated with Microsoft, Brevan Howard, and SK Telecom to develop Aptos Ascend, a portfolio of solutions to help organizations unlock the uncollateralized lending market for Web3, expand decentralized finance to institutional capital, and release the liquidity of tokenized assets on a global scale.

The collaboration will leverage BCG’s consulting expertise with digital implementations for financial institutions and Aptos Lab’s technological expertise in blockchain solutions at scale.

“We are excited to partner with Aptos Labs to offer a unique capability to enable financial institutions to embrace the transformative potential of open finance. We believe there’s an unprecedented opportunity for this collaboration to shape the future of finance on a global scale,” said Sean Park, a managing director and senior partner at BCG.

“With BCG serving as our consulting partner for the implementation of Aptos Ascend, I’m confident that the world’s banks, financial institutions, and investment management firms will move on chain within months, not decades,” said Aptos Labs Co-Founder & CEO Mo Shaikh. “Our partnership will shorten the path to realizing the promise of open finance on Aptos with worldwide access, inclusion, and innovation at the center of our efforts.”
