Matthew Leach is a member of Boston Consulting Group's Industrial Goods and Technology practices, with a focus on mining and technology. He works with mining and technology clients on major capital projects covering all large-capital project management topics. 

In his recent work, Matthew has supported a global mining company with implementation of a new project delivery model for a new mine development, supported a global mining company with its evaluation of an $3 billion (AUD) program of works to increase capacity at a major asset, and supported a global mining company in developing its digital strategy, including establishing an in-house digital delivery center. Matthew co-developed BCG's LESS capital reduction methodology for major projects. 

Before joining the firm, Matthew worked for five years at BHP, concentrating on large capital and mining technology projects. He also served for 16 Years in the Royal Australian Air Force, and is qualified as an instructor on the F/A-18 Hornet aircraft.
