Over the last decade, the Asia-Pacific (AP) region has contributed significantly to the global M&A deals landscape, boasting about 25% of the total global transaction value and nearly 40% of the total global deal.

Despite this, the region still falls short on post-merger integration (PMI) practices and, as a result, fails to compare favorably with other regions in value creation and overall transaction success.

In this report, we explore AP’s performance when compared to other regions globally and analyse why M&A transactions in AP fail to result in successful integration.
