There is mounting experimental evidence that AI can outperform humans on many cognitive tasks. Christian Stadler and Martin Reeves explored what would happen if they took AI out of the lab and into the real world.

This article describes the engagement, which was conducted during a period when the company was making several strategic moves, and the lessons learned. Notably, the authors discovered that what makes AI a valuable team member is that it’s different from humans. The collective intelligence of humans and AI offers something new and exciting.
