Since April 2024, Akash Garg has been a senior analyst for Boston Consulting Group’s FinTech Control Tower, the firm’s dedicated unit focused on fintech, insurtech, and regtech (regulatory technology) innovation. He plays an active role in driving the firm's fintech innovation agenda, delivering strategic insights that support client outcomes across financial services.
The FinTech Control Tower monitors innovation and disruption across global markets, leveraging proprietary databases and deep sector expertise to shape research, consulting, and thought leadership on emerging trends and investment themes. He has been an author or co-author on numerous BCG reports on the state of fintech, as well as the Global Fintech Fest reports for 2024 and 2025.
Before joining BCG, Akash worked for four years as Senior Associate at Bain & Company in the financial services domain, primarily working with leading clients across payments, fintech, wealth, and asset management industries.
