Aykan Gökbulut leads The Boston Consulting Group’s Industrial Goods practice in Turkey and is also a core member of the Operations and Marketing, Sales & Pricing practices. He focuses his work increasingly on operational improvement of industrial operations. He is the author of a deep dive assessment of Industry 4.0 and its impacts on Turkey together with Tüsiad (Turkish Industrials Association).
Aykan has deep experience working on portfolio, market-entry, and go-to-market strategies with industrial goods groups and companies in Turkey and internationally. Over his career at BCG he developed also international expertise in Consumer Goods and Retail sectors.
Before joining the firm, Aykan worked in the automotive industry, on R&D of engine management systems at Robert Bosch in Vienna and in international project management for the high-tech communication systems integrator Frequentis.
Sürekli gelişen teknoloji, sanayide üretkenliğin özellikle 18. yüzyılın sonlarından günümüze üç ana dalga çevresinde çok önemli şekilde artmasını mümkün kılmıştır. Buhar gücüyle çalışan makinalar, elektriğin üretime girmesi ve 1970 sonrasında gittikçe yaygınlaşan robotlu otomasyon akımı bu yeni çığırlar açan üç devrimin tetikçileri niteliğinde olmuştur.
