Catherine Rivet is a biopharma expert with Boston Consulting Group's Health Care practice. Along with biopharma topics such as corporate strategy, business development, and research and development (R&D), she works with clients on life sciences R&D and global health issues. She also works with providers (academic medical centers, physician groups) on issues of strategy, operations, and transformational change.

Prior to joining BCG, Catherine performed academic research focused on developing mathematical models and microfluidic chips to study immunosenescence as it pertains to aging, cancer therapy, and vaccine efficacy. As a result of this work, she coauthored seven peer reviewed scientific papers and expert reviews, received a patent, and was award the best Bioengineering PhD Thesis Award for 2012.
