Colin Teo is a member of Boston Consulting Group's Public Sector and Social Impact practices and a member of their leadership teams for Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia. He is BCG's Southeast Asia lead for economic development and international development programs.
Colin focuses on driving breakout growth for Southeast Asian governments, development agencies, and multilateral development banks, by advising on trade and investment strategy, geo-economic security and resilience, global value chain development, green growth, inclusive growth, and digital transformation.
He has led large-scale Official Development Assistance programs across Southeast Asia, covering topics including trade and industrial policy, economic reform, green and inclusive growth, digital development, and private sector investment facilitation. His work has shaped policy dialogue at the ministerial level and contributed to ASEAN-wide frameworks for industrial cooperation and economic resilience.
Beyond development programs, Colin has partnered with Southeast Asian governments on national transformation strategies, large-scale organizational redesign, and digital roadmaps. He has also advised leading regional corporates on board-level strategy, digital transformation, and operational turnarounds.
Prior to joining BCG, Colin worked at the Singapore Economic Development Board, where he led new industry identification and incubation strategy and managed a portfolio of global pharmaceutical firms.
