Dhruv Lal is a core member of Boston Consulting Group's Public Sector, and Travel, Cities & Infrastructure (TCI) practices. He serves on BCG’s global real estate leadership team. Since joining BCG in 2015, Dhruv has led high-impact engagements in economic development, infrastructure strategy, and operational transformation, working closely with infrastructure and real estate clients—both public and private—to design and deliver programs that enhance competitiveness, drive sustainable growth, and improve asset and operational performance.
In transport and logistics, Dhruv has experience in aviation, ports, and multimodal infrastructure. He has advised on master planning, expansion strategies, and operations improvement initiatives that enhance connectivity, unlock capacity, and support regional development. He has also led digital operations transformations for a variety of infrastructure clients.
Dhruv has a strong track record in investment promotion and public-private partnership (PPP) structuring. He has supported government-linked and development-oriented institutions in crafting investor engagement strategies, designing enabling frameworks, and building institutional capabilities to attract and sustain long-term private sector investment.
Before joining BCG, Dhruv worked at Microsoft and Accenture.
