Managing Director & Partner
Since he joined Boston Consulting Group in 2010, Hans Clement’s work has focused on clients in the Middle East, with whom he works on projects related to travel and tourism, entertainment, and real estate (including tour operators, travel agents, hotel developers, and theme park developers). As a core member of BCG's Consumer Goods, Strategy, and People & Organization practices, Hans has supported senior executives in public and private-sector companies as they build strategies, and improve commercial functions and operating models.
Hans has led multiple large-scale multi-year transformation programs for his clients, including portfolio optimization, productivity improvements, and customer journey transformations.
In the course of his work, Hans has supported senior leaders in their first 100 days in office, and partnered with governments to design their tourism strategies, infrastructure developments, and reforms.
Before joining the firm, Hans worked for three years at CB Richard Ellis in the Real Estate Investment Advisory in Germany.
This new thought leadership by BCG and Google looks at providing an in-depth view of the current state of the travel industry, how the pandemic has affected consumer attitudes toward travel and tourism, as well as recommendations on the way forward for the industry to recover.
