Jens Müller leads the data architecture team in Europe, the Middle East, South America, and Africa (EMESA), and the architecture team for Central Europe, for BCG Platinion. He is also a core member of the Insurance practice. Platinion is Boston Consulting Group's division focused on the development, implementation, and enablement of business-critical IT architecture and digital solutions.
Jens is currently focusing on core modernization, particularly in the insurance industry, working with experts in GenAI/agentic AI, cloud-natives, and digital sovereignty, to continuously challenge and drive what good looks like.
As one of the firm's leading architects, he manages architecture engagements, including enterprise-wide digital enablement, EAM-setup, GenAI/agentic AI, cloud journeys, data, and AI platforms He also has experience with core banking and capital market systems; insurance architectures and core systems; integration architecture; cloud native data and application architectures; and IT operations, cloud, infrastructure, and service management.
Jens was previously employed as Domain Architect and Head of Design Authority at Capital Markets at DZ BANK AG Frankfurt, and began his career as a software developer at Avinci AG in Frankfurt.
