João Paulo Curado is a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Financial Institutions practice. Over the course of ten years as a strategy consultant in financial services, JP has developed expertise in many aspects of the industry, having worked with leading banks, payments providers, fintechs, institutional investors and regulators, across Brazil, broader Latin America, and North America.

At BCG, JP leads high-performing teams on key retail banking topics such as payments, credit, fintech, and data-driven personalization; as well as risk and compliance issues including financial risk modeling, treasury, balance sheet optimization, and stress testing. His recent client engagements have covered revenue management, pricing transformation, due diligence, market entry, and customer acquisition and retention.

Prior to joining BCG in 2021, JP spent eight years at Oliver Wyman Financial Services.
