Lina Bankert is a core member of Boston Consulting Group's Public Sector practice, specializing in education, employment, and welfare. Lina works with clients on strategic planning, market analysis, performance and sustainability improvement, organization design, talent pipeline development, and change management.
Lina focuses on the intersection between pre-K-12 and postsecondary education and workforce systems, and has extensive experience facilitating change between private and social sector organizations. She has supported state and local governments, school systems, foundations, intermediaries, multi-sector collaboratives, and for-profit and nonprofit organizations on a range of education, skilling, and economic development issues.
Prior to joining BCG in January 2022, Lina spent a decade at the national nonprofit Bellwether Education, advising a broad range of education organizations; and, before that, a decade in management consulting and investment banking. She currently serves on the board of the National Center for Teacher Residencies and as a board member and the education lead for BCG’s Center for Illinois' Future.
